Neuromuscular Dentistry
Neuromuscular Dentistry uses the relationship between the jaw muscles, jaw bones, nerves and teeth to recreate the natural bite. The aim of Neuromuscular Dentistry is to relax the muscles controlling jaw position in order to establish a jaw resting position upon which treatment plans and considerations are based. This method of treatment is especially useful for rebuilding worn teeth and bad bites as well as treating TMD / TMJ. (Temporomandibular disorder / Temporomandibular joint)
